Tamworth High School Science Faculty offers the full range of Stage 6 Science courses, an innovative teaching program in Stages 4 & 5 and a wide range of extracurricular activities.
Students of Tamworth High School have traditionally enjoyed success in Science and many have gone on to pursue careers in Science.

    Stage 4 and 5

    The Science Staff are currently adapting the Science Tracks teaching program to meet the needs of our students and the current Stage 4-5 Syllabus Outcomes.
    Students at Tamworth High School have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extra-curricula activities including the Science Competition, Chemistry Competition, Murder Under the Microscope, Science & Engineering Challenge and Double Helix Science Club. Each year students are nominated to participate in the Honeywell Engineering School, Siemens Science Experience and National Youth Science Forum, Students have also been nominated to participate in the Rural High Schools Medicine Career Week.
